The grand opening of the new Planet Platypus Network studios was a blast, everything went perfect, from Teri Weigel to the big ribbon cutting ceremony. Were going to have a great time breaking in our new office chair and desk, if you know what we mean.

We take you on a trip with us to Greenville South Carolina where we hosted the Miss PoleChamp Southeast Regional contest for PoleChamp USA owner Nakita Kash.  We were there again with our co host and reigning Miss Pole Champ USA Katie Sutra.  The Trophy Club was an awesome place for the contest and we had one great night with all the people that came out to see the show, it was a packed house and everyone seemed to have an awesome time.thank you to Jay Levey for being the best host ever. After all the talented ladies did their shows on the poles and the votes were all added up, our friend and incredible pole dancer, Ryan Ashley was crowned the 2012 Miss PoleChamp Southeast Regional winner. “We received a large amount of messages and emails and have taken a step back and realized how that title could have been perceived,” said J. Handy, Executive Producer of The Fannys. “We’ve always supported the BBW industry and as soon as we started hearing negative feedback the decision to change the name was quickly made.”

“We apologize to anyone who was offended,” Continued Handy. “We take great pride in the diversity of our events and this was just a not-so-successful of an attempt at being funny.”

The Fannys are the adult industry’s first fully interactive awards event. The star-studded awards show takes place in the Grand Ballroom at the Trump Taj Mahal in Atlantic City, NJ on Saturday, April 20, 2013 as part of the EXXXOTICA Expo, which runs at the casino and hotel April 19-21. Ft Lauderdale, FL- Tony Batman’s A Entertainment News-  In this historic episode of the Planet Platypus Show on the Planet Platypus Network, hosts DJ Platypus, Johnny Walker, and Bobby Mac welcome new co host Amber CBY to the show for the first time. It was a night of firsts as the New Planet Platypus Network Studios had it Ribbon cutting ceremony and its Grand Opening night right before the show started.

The first guest in the new studios was none other than adult legend and superstar Teri Weigel who has way too many credits to list here, but we can say we were impressed with her 17 appearances in Playboy Magazine. Teri Weigel was the best guest there could have been to start off, what will surely be years and years of fun and entertaining programing.

Weigel told of her days on the Feature Dance Circuit and how back in the day you traveled with a multi person crew to each appearance, that there was set up, break down, and a lot of things involved that people just don’t do anymore today. Teri told the history of her career and a little about what she is up to now, (she looks phenomenal in person by the way). Then DJ Platypus asked her about the Jenna Jameson comparison that has been there throughout her career. Teri was so gracious and always said the right thing, but then Platypus explained his opinion of the situation and well, thats a pretty juicy party of the show….

As if the above was not enough to roll right through the show, there was plenty more to come.  Network co owner Tony Batman sat in on the show and was the lucky recipient, along with everyone else in the room, of the Johnny Walker game called G-SPOT. When Johnny Walker yelled “G-Spot” Teri Weigel would open her legs reveling what her fans already have known for years, She never wears panties with her dresses, or anything else.

The Planet Platypus Network Studios will broadcast the flagship, Planet Platypus Show, the Dirty 30 Show, the Gonzo Radio Show, the Tony Batman Show, the new Sports Talk Show, The Caddy Shack, DJ Casanova Plant Mix Show, Striptaculous,The Tales From Tony Batman Show,  and  DJPA Show. More show will be added as new talent is discovered by Program Director Mike De Suno aka DJ Platypus.
